Associated Bank eManager Urgent Online Banking Service Information

There are a set of email messages originating from Russia that assume the identity of Associated Bank, headquartered in Wisconsin USA. The thieves’ message tries to lure unsuspecting customers to confirm their customer banking information. Please beware. The link does not point to Associated Bank and is being used to capture your personal banking information. The message reads:

Dear eManagerPlus client,

   Security and confidentiality are at the heart of the Associated Bank.
   Your details (and your money) is protected by a number of
   technologies, including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption.
   We would like to notify you that Associated Bank carries out customer
   details verification procedure that is compulsory for all our
   customers. This procedure is attributed to a routine banking software
   update.

   Please visit our Client Verification Page using the link below and
   follow the instructions on the screen.

Please be advised that if you receive an email similar to this that it is a phishing attempt.  Associated Bank would not send their customers an email of this sort.
